I suggest that you try a litter box. Next time he poops or pees in the house sop the pee up and put a tiny smear of poop onto some newspaper. Then use the newspaper to line the litter box. Put the box near the area where he always goes. If you catch him in the act, quickly move him to the litter box. When he uses the box, praise him. In addition to that, continue to take him out, right after he wakes up and right after he has eaten, and once an hour there after when ever you are home with him. Stay with him outside and when he does his business praise him. and bring him inside. Good luck. Cesar learned to use a litter box in one day. Hope you have the same luck. Hello everyone. I have an 18 week old purebred long haired chihuahua who I have been trying to house break since we got him at 9 weeks and I cant seem to do it. We take him out many times a day and yet he still insists on going on the floor! Its like he's doing it to spite us. We take him out for like 15 mins and he'll refuse to go and just minutes after we go inside, he'll poop or pee on the floor! Do you have any suggestions? I've even tried to paper train him and that didnt work either. The breeder we got him from just let the pups go wherever which i think was the start of the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him to go outside? He's ruining all our floors! **************Looking for a car that's sporty, fun and fits in your budget? Read reviews on AOL Autos.
