I asked my vet about that too. She sadi it was a
"no go". It has to be as she put it, "Right from the dog!"
You can do it. It does take a bit of patience on your part
though. Honestly, I did laugh when I read your email because I
thought about how crazy I must have looked to people on the
street. Red haired woman sticks miniature cup under chihuahua to
collect specimen!!!

It wasn't that
easy! haha! He is so small and he pees like a girl, so I
took a plastic cup and cut it down to about an inch deep. It was
easier to stick under his legs! Let your little one smell it
before you try to use it though, otherwise they will stop in
midstream to "check it out"!! Also, you really don't need a
whole lot for the test! Good luck!

P.S. Whatever you do, don't squeeze out a weewee pad, it transfers chemicals
that are not in the urine!

followed my boy around with a cup! I went for a walk with him and
when he stopped at his favorite spots I "caught it". For days
afterwards, he wait for the cup!!! Haha! He is too funny!
