If a dog is having a hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) attack, he/she will be very
tired, lying around, no energy, droopy. In extreme cases, he/she won't be able
to stand up. Katie did this 2 days after I got her - VERY scary!! At this
point, it's time to pray. The treatment I use is Nutri-Cal. Actually, if
Katie does not eat well, I give her Nutri-Cal so she doesn't have an attack. I
ALWAYS have a fresh tube of it on hand.
