I was not initiating a "I know more" argument.....the comment was I
probably know more breeders...not that I have more knowledge.....but when
you breed, you become involved in a community of fellow breeders....you
get to know people who do the things you do....I am sure there is some
activity you are involved in where you know more people involved in the
same activity than I do. For instance, as a lawyer, I probably know more
lawyers than anyone on the group...it is just a matter of groupies so to
speak....not trying to say I am more knowledgeable on any subject.

And yes, we must agree to disagree, because I think you put way to much
credit on a dogs ability to adjust or bounce back.....it is not as easy on
them as many humans like to think. And if someone is gonna abuse, neglect
or abandon a dog, then rather they leave the litter at 5 weeks or 5 months
is not gonna make a difference to them...they are gonna be cruel to a dog
no matter what.....

And, the "old way" is 6 weeks...definitely not acceptable among any
ethical breeder anymore. In fact, in most states, not even acceptable in
the eyes of the law.
