what a touching story :-) My dad had dogs when he was a young boy, but had
never had one in my lifetime. He use to talk about how he would like to
have a collie. One day I saw a lady looking for a home for two collies so
I went and got them and gave one to my dad. He LOVED that dog. Daddy was
killed in a car wreck about a month after he got the dog. He lived 3 days
in the hospital before dying from his injuries, but even there, he told
everyone about his dog and was worried to death that his dog would leave
ect while he was in the hospital. I had to come home and chain his dog up
so he wouldn't worry. He didn't get to have much time with his dog, but I
thank the good lord that he gave me the opportunity to provide that short
month of happiness to my dad :-)
