Hi Michele...thats it...I need an assasign!!! LOL!!!! As far as chicken
skin...some remove it and some don't. Most of those on my raw feeding lists do
not remove it...as a dog would eat it if it had just killed a chicken. I
compromise...i let them have the skin on legs and wings but not breasts or
thighs...so they get some here. That is the first thing they eat!!! They LOVE
the skin. If I feeds cornish game hens they get skin and all...Cornish Game Hen
day is like Christmas as everyone gets there own little hen...when they see
those little frozen birds come out of the freezer to thaw they just get so
excited...they KNOW!!! It is toooo funny!

Deanna

I can't kill a tame rabbit because I watch them grow up from birth, but, we
have
a very good friend we call our assassin...lol. He can kill
ANYTHING....rotflmbo.. I tell him this one, that one and these need to be
killed, I put them in the rabbit carrier and in 3 minutes he's killed up to 5
rabbits for me. I skin them and dress them out, that don't bother me but I
can't
"do the deed". I'm also going to be hatching chickens soon, and I'm keeping all
the roos so I can butcher them for my Jake. I saw in an earlier post to remove
chicken skin. Did I read that right?

Thanks,
Michele in WV

Michele...please don't tell anyone this but i LOVE to dress out a deer!!! I
love
to clean fish and butcher and process chickens. I have done taxidermy for
years...one of my favorite hobbies LOL...now...if I could just be ok with
killin' a bunny...I would LOVE to raise rabbits for my pack...I could skin em
and dress em....but I just don't think I could whack em!  Someone was talking
about a co2 way to kill them but I don't know anything about it...yet! I feel
so
much better when I feed my family and pack something we raised or hunted...to
me
thats clean meat!

Most do thier own butchering. We do. If you could even buy a buck and 2 does
you
should be able to raise enough to help w/the feed bill your self. You
may have to do like I did and  find a friend who is "heartless" and doesn't
mind
killing them, but I can dress them out in 5 minutes.

Thanks,
Michele in WV
