Hi Shana, I use Blue Buffalo for our little rescue and she seems to love it. I have heard good things about its nutrition.
BTW, we got her in January, she is 5 years old, and it has taken us quite a few months to get things sorted out. Like you, I tried a lot of things.... one day something would work and the next it wouldn't. One day she would eat and then the next she wouldn't. Finally we came together after about 4 months. I give her a tiny bit of kibble in her dish in the morning. It is rare that she touches it. In the evening I give her half a can (about 3 ozs) beside the left over dry. Now, she is excited and dancing around and wanting her dinner. She isn't a tiny dog like your Ricky but she still had problems adjusting. She has just now started wanting some petting... it must be hard to learn to be a pet after five years of breeding and living mostly in a cage. She is coming along and so will Ricky.
