Hi everyone again...lol well, I am tired of buying dog food and Ricky not eating it. This is what I decided to do. I will feed him human chicken, lamb, beef, fish, or what ever meat I decide, mix it up with a "little" of a good canned dog food (as I did this morning) and feed him that. in the evening I will add some veggies and rice to the mixture. I want him to have the canned dog food also to make sure he is getting all the vitamins and etc's that he needs. He ate quite a bit this morning. I can not stand by and watch him not eat. I have read so many different things like leave the food he will eat when he wants, he won't starve himself... bla bla bla... I can not do that to him. anyway, it will be better for him to feed him like this. I think he was not feed dog food by his other owners... most likely it was table scrapes or they cooked for him. either way, I feel better now knowing his little tummy is not growling and he is not hungry.

I give her a tiny bit of kibble in her dish in the morning. It is rare that she touches it. In the evening I give her half a can (about 3 ozs) beside the left over dry. Now, she is excited and dancing around and wanting her dinner. She isn't a tiny dog like your Ricky but she still had problems adjusting. She has just now started wanting some petting... it must be hard to learn to be a pet after five years of breeding and living mostly in a cage. She is coming along and so will Ricky.
