Here's an update on Paco and how he's doing. After we had our vets visit about
a week ago and he said he had a respiratory infection and he was given
antibiotics to help him get over it. Well, Paco is doing much better, he's
sneezing a lot less. And he's still been his upbeat happy self as always.
Enjoying his new home and new family.

I did ask another vet about the information that the vet had told us about and
also about the food and the medicine. She told me we better not give him that
puppy food being that he is not a puppy and she recommended that we not even
give him the heartworm prevention medicine, because she's had cases were the
dog has gotten sick any way after taking the heartworm medicine to prevent the
heart worms. Does any one know if this is true and is there just a vaccine that
he could take like a shot to prevent heart worms. I just don't want to see him
get that, because I had to watch a dog die that I had before from heart worms
what are peoples take on this.

Also, like many of you have recommended I do, the vet also recommended that I
litter or paper train him. I tried that and seriously little Paco just won't
go. He will hold it all day. I mentioned this to the vet and the only thing
that I can do is bundle him up and take him for a quick walk. So we bought him
a little t-shirt and a jacket that is all furry and warm on the inside and we
bring him outside.

I really wish that I lived a lot closer to this vet, because Paco would just go
to her. But after all the things that were told to her through me and my
friend, she strongly recommends we get another vet like everyone said. So we're
on a search for a new vet. If anyone lives in San Antonio, TX and knows of a
good vet please let me know.

Okay that's it.
