yup ...i just raised a one lb chi and a 2 lb chi from 7  weeks old on raw...you 
do have to adjust what you feed according to the out put but thats very easy... 
too loose more bone too hard more liver....

Lots of people start with raw at weaning so you don't have to wait a year.  If 
you grind you do bones and all, but you don't have to grind, nawing on the 
bones is awesome for their teeth.  And raw would have tons more moisture than 
kibble and should not cause any dehydration or constipation.
