I have a 8 month long coat, When I got her at 8 weeks she had long hair around her ears, with a little feathering on her legs and tail, then she went through this curly stage. At one point she looked like she had wings on her back. Now she has a full coat, very silky with long feathering on her tail and bag legs, I call them fancy pants. She sheads, but not as much as my 2 short coats. Beth

I am not sure what your question is exactly, but yes many (I would say most) LH chis lose their baby coat ( called the uglies). That is completely normal and the coat should grow back in just fine, but may not be complete till around a year or so. Siblings can have slight differences in their coat. Some LH have an undercoat which will make them look much thicker, some have thin coats some have thick coats...it just varies. As long as their fur is growing back and they don't continue to have bald spots I am sure they are fine. Puppies also learn at different rates, much like children. Hopefully the boy will help his sister learn. Sounds like everything is going great and your babies have a lovely home.
