Growing up my cousin always had Chihuahuas, but hers were never socialized thus
very aggressive and endlessly vocal. She also seemed to like the ones with the
HUGE eyes and teeny bodies. So I was not a huge fan of that breed because of
my early exposure.

My daughters good friend had the most adorable little black tri-colored fluffy
dog, Chico...I could not believe it when she said it was a LH Chihuahua. I had
wanted a small dog that would cuddle with me on the couch and Chico sold me. I
kept my eyes open for any LH Adoptables, when they came available they were
snatched up. I was in no rush and when I saw the ad for these two, new
landlord said NO PETS. She had found homes for the parents and once the
puppies turned 10 weeks they had to go. I went there [2 hours away] with the
intention of bringing home one : ). I could not leave there without the both
of them. A friend went with me to help bring them home and all he did was say
ohhhh these are the cutest, oo oo they keep kissing me : ). Never regretted
my decision, they are great company for one another. I love watching them
evolve. It is like my kids are young again! My daughter is away in college
and is having fun buying them sweaters. It gets cold here in New England : )!
