I have always used it with no problem at all. This vet was new to me and many raved about her. She is nice, but young and relatively inexperienced, as I see it. One thing I did not like besides her lack of toy knowledge was she continued to insist that I should use Frontline. I realize the flea/tick issue but I have also seen the down side of using a pesticide daily on an animal. The vet I had worked for had Whippets and Huskies, he refused to prescribe Frontline for dogs with low body weight. What is the groups feeling on Frontline on Chihuahuas?? --- In [email protected], Barbara Blackburn <auntiebab...@...> wrote: > > Since your vet is inexperienced with toy breeds you may want to find a > vet that is more familiar with toys. That way if any problems arise > they will more likely know what to do. >  > Barbara Blackburn > > > > > > ________________________________ > From: ma_gene_mom <ma_gene_...@...> > To: [email protected] > Sent: Mon, November 22, 2010 1:24:53 AM > Subject: [Chihuahuas] New LH Chihuahua Owner - Had several other > breeds but not a toy breed > >  > Has anyone run into this, I have a brother and sister LH Chihuahua's. > Both are good eaters, eat a blend of lamb-rice or chicken can with > Trader Joe's holistic dry.
