I keep Desi in an x-pen at home when I go out. I don’t know if he would stay in Mandy’s crate, but I am also concerned about his rash and if it is catching.
I actually called the vet’s office before leaving to get my hair done. The e-collar is too short because he has a long neck and his body is long and narrow and he can turn it pretty tight. I told the gal that I only got a couple hours sleep, that I had an appt about a block away from them and asked if I could drop him by first and they could give him a new e-collar. I packed his food in a baggie and put in his empty Tramadol bottle with a bottle of the same strength Tramadol that I can no longer take. Then I put in the whole box of Benadryl in case it was OK to give him that. I might have put the antiseptic spray in there. I will have to take his antibiotics, too. When I went to pick him up they wanted him to stay so that they could play with him, so I asked if I can bring Dolly too. So she is out in the sun, I am trying to drink a RockStar so that I can wake up. My friend, Carmen, called and doesn’t want to go to St George because she is in pain and so it will be me and Judy. I;m answering emails and then I will change Dolly’s clothes because the tshirt she has on is way too big…I think they are made for a yorkie-type wider body. They will keep her too and if I pick them up before 8 pm there is no charge. So…maybe things will change. I want to talk to Dr. Bullard when I drop Dolly off because I need to know what I can give him if tonight is as bad as last night. Thanks for your concern. But, me and Judy will have a good day and I don’t have to worry about my two, and Tony is home for the day and he will be with Mandy. Us moms need to have a break! I'm sure Tony wouldn't mind watching Desi if he can put Desi in a crate when he can't, sometimes a crate make them feel more secure so Tony doesn't have to hold him ? ...at least there will be someone there to comfort Desi... Hope you figure out what's up with the itching...maybe allergies or allergic to fleas...My yorkie Lacey scratches like crazy to the point she's bleeding and the vet told me she must be allergic to fleas or something outside ? Hope you get everything sorted out... It's tough finding someone to baby sit the furbies but my family and friends don't have a problem asking me to dog sit pfffffffffff hugs Linda [email protected] writes: Thanks Linda. Desi doesn’t want me out of his sight and he shakes until I pick him up. If he is still like this when I get home, I am going to see if the vet’s office/boarding might watch him for me today. They only charge for the nights, and I really don’t feel comfortable leaving him. Judy’s husband, Tony, would watch him for me, but he has Mandy to watch. Desi loves him, but I am not sure he wants to be holding Desi all day. Desi likes to do potty on carpet and their living room is carpeted. Hopefully I can get the OK to give him Torbutol to help numb the itch and/or Benadryl to help take away the itch. Sounds like a fun girls day out :) hugs Linda [email protected] writes: Just going to go to bed and get a couple hours of sleep. After I get my hair cut then me, Judy, my friend Carmen and her mother are going to lunch together. I will have to drink lots of caffeine! It is good night from me, and probably some of you are already up.
