I just wonder if she knows this is happening. I would think that she would, but my mom had Lewy Body Dementia. The cognition fluctuates and things can go from normal to abnormal at the snap of a finger. The right frontal lobe is what is affected that makes people be able to know right and wrong. Maybe I should read up. That would be weird if it was somehow related…but no one in my family (except me) want to know what Lewy Body Dementia really is. I have started the first caregiver support group in Nevada and hope to help caregivers, as I did not have that support. I have a friend that has it, and she said when she gets upset about something (stress) that causes a Lewy episode, that she cannot control what she says and how she says it, and it is like she is watching herself do things that she wouldn’t and she has not control to stop it. Funny, I never thought of a possible connection until right now. I hope she doesn’t have that.
