I hope your sister doesn't have that either...gosh, I give up trying to
figure what my husband's problem is...I always thought it was a midlife
crisis but I think it's been tooooo long lol he says some strange things lol
to
the point people told me they think he's Bi polar, maybe he had mini
strokes or has brain tumor lol I just think it's old age, he's a negative
grump
lol
You're brave to do research and look things up, I would be afraid to read
something that may be happening or get myself into looking up every little
problem I have myself lol
That's wonderful, you started the first Caregiver support group !

I just wonder if she knows this is happening. I would think that she
would, but my mom had Lewy Body Dementia. The cognition fluctuates and things
can go from normal to abnormal at the snap of a finger. The right frontal
lobe is what is affected that makes people be able to know right and wrong.
Maybe I should read up. That would be weird if it was somehow related…
but no one in my family (except me) want to know what Lewy Body Dementia
really is. I have started the first caregiver support group in Nevada and
hope to help caregivers, as I did not have that support. I have a friend that
has it, and she said when she gets upset about something (stress) that
causes a Lewy episode, that she cannot control what she says and how she says
it, and it is like she is watching herself do things that she wouldn’t and
she has not control to stop it. Funny, I never thought of a possible
connection until right now. I hope she doesn’t have that.

Don't be sorry...I'm fine, it's the way you want to deal with it...I just
don't let it get to me anymore...I go about my business and enjoy life...I
think he's the that's miserable, he seems to be so negative and angry, I do
kinda feel sorry for him...I told him he may need help but of course he
turns it around on me so "ho hum"...I can't bother with it anymore...

Life is too short, so I choose to be happy :)

Remember, you're a lovely sweet lady, don't you forget it...

nite nite Joan~

dunno...but your sister sounds like my husband...I never really used the
term Bi polar around my family and friends, they told me he was...I really
never looked it up so have no idea what it is...I just know he can be fine
one minute and then go bonkers the next...our close friend told me my
husband's really changed...not the same person he used to be but he has always
been nasty to me so I see no difference really...

I really don't talk to him unless I absolutely have to :) like where did
my car keys go ? lol

She has double personality…very sweet to others. When we were younger,
everyone loved her…sweet girl. At home…different. Maybe it goes back to
when she was a teenager? I wonder if double personality is a precursor to
bi-polar.
