Subject: [Chihuahuas] Re: Worms in the poo - help

Based on some research - looks like we've got tapeworm!

Bollocks. Bollocks. Bollocks.

Another call to the vet Monday. Now I'm concerned about what her possible
parasite load may actually be. And whether this may potentially be
contributing to the coughing. She's not coughing up blood. There is no blood
in her poo. And this is the first time I noticed any moving things where
they shouldn't be. Her anal area looks clear. So we haven't gotten to the
'scooting' stage yet.

Suggestions? Help? Bugger - one thing improves, another thing crops up.

dog's bathroom habits and I curb even though that is not the status quo in
the area (country), I noticed a couple of small, white worms in her poo this
morning. Trying to identify them using the wonderful internet right now.

still eating and drinking well. Her health, aside from the occasional cough,
is fine. The coughing is subsiding. The vet said her heart and lungs sounded
find on our last visit.
