Did your vet give you a parasite preventative to give her once a month? I
think they deworm to get rid of what is inside, but a preventative keeps
them free of them. In my opinion, you should take her to the vet. She has
the other issues of KC and it seems like all of a sudden one day you were
saying how she is sleeping all day when she didn't before. Just my opinion.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Worms in the poo - help

I took Pia out this morning, and as I'm always relatively attentive to a
dog's bathroom habits and I curb even though that is not the status quo in
the area (country), I noticed a couple of small, white worms in her poo this
morning. Trying to identify them using the wonderful internet right now.

I know that she was de-wormed April 15. This is the first time that I
noticed anything in her stool.

Is this a vet thing or is it time for another round of worming treatment?

Two, small white planerian looking worms. She is still eating well. She is
still eating and drinking well. Her health, aside from the occasional cough,
is fine. The coughing is subsiding. The vet said her heart and lungs sounded
find on our last visit.
