First is Hercules a black and tan smooth hair who is 5 years old,then Spanky his son(we had to put his Momma to sleep) who is about 26 month sold and is redish fawn and smooth haired and finally Little Man who IA about 8 months old and is a smooth haired Fawn, We love these little tykes with all of our beings ! Now to address your little Lily's problem with her bottom. You could put warm compresses on it a few times a day for comfort and to help it continue to drain.She probably bothers with it because to is uncomfortable and sore, The warm compresses will probably feel like Heaven ! It cost me $100 which I can not afford. The problem was one of the anal glands. It had an abscess and it looked like a big pimple on her little bum:(. The doctor opened it and gave her a shot (you have never heard something so small make so much noise) I have antibiotics to give her at home as well. I have noticed her licking or biting at the sore. So, my question is should I be doing something else for her? She is 2.5 years old and this is the first time she has had the problem Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I don't want to have to take her back to the vet if I can help it. She will probably flip out if she sees him again so soon! LOL Anyway, thanks for reading this and any ideas would be appreciated.
