Nor do I - I'm out with them each and every time they go out...My 2 dogs are 13 and 18 pounds - and I have a big tree in a small fenced in yard - but I still have that 'I need to watch' feeling. I put chicken wire along the bottom of the wood post fencing to deter little critters from coming in (it works) - so I don't have to worry about them eating bunny droppings (which can cause giardia). ....Charlotte isn't out too much with the weather being so cold - but she too will be watched (like a hawk - pun intended) when she is outside as well.
I tried to allow Timmy and Liza out in the front to bask in the sun on spring days and such while I worked in the house - but Timmy keeps coming to the door looking for me - and I worry about them both too much to leave them alone. Besides - I need to know their pottying properly...so...I will keep going out with them at all times.
