I have my 2 Papillons and Dani that have the feathers om the back, and they do get poop stuck on the feathers. Always doing butt checks and I keep wipes on hand.

RE: [Chihuahuas] Long Coats

I am going to ask this question…and if anyone wants to laugh at me, go ahead!

I think that except for pictures on this group, I have never really seen a long-hair Chihuahua.  I know that I have seen Emiliano’s photos, but never one from behind.  OK…Here it goes…Do you ever have to clean the fur on his backside after he goes poopy?  I know that when I watch Dolly & Desi it usually falls a tiny bit away from their butts, but he has a lot of fur on the rear end.

The long feathers down the back of Emiliano's legs is what I pay special attention to when I brush.
