I agree 100%!!!! With 8 dogs and 8 cats and a parrot, I do not travel a lot. But my SUV is a perfect set up for me to take a couple of dogs with me for short trips. I don’t take them when it is hot unless they can go in where ever I am going. Nor do they go when it is very cold. I have them travel in their crates for their safety and mine. I also park where I can see the car (because of thieves) and don’t stay away for long.

I have never been asked how many dogs are in the carrier. No one ever has checked. :O) I would NEVER fly my dogs in cargo!!
