Hi,
I rotate their toys. Every few months, I take away the ones they've been
playing with (if there's anything left of the poor toy) and bring out the ones
they haven't seen in a while. It's like Christmas to them.
I buy toys at the pet store after holidays, when they're marked down by 75%.
They don't care if their toys are red and green in July or orange in April. :)
For the stuffed animals that I know they're going to destroy in a week, I go to
the thrift store and buy the 25 cent safe toys; take them home and disinfect
the heck out of them.
No, they don't know how to put them away, but they sure do great at getting
each and every one out of the toy baskets.
What do you all put in the little kongs? I've used peanut butter, but they
can't get to the bottom. And when I fill the top party only, they inevitably
push it down.

Oh, gosh!  Ceci has more toys than a little kid would have.... And I can't seem
to teach her to put them away!  (^_^).   Funny.  She loves her toys and plays
with them all during the day.
