No, he won't even let me touch his mouth. And I'm afraid the vet's going to have to knock him out before he can even get close to his mouth. He's never let anybody but me look at his teeth.
Any other suggestions?

Can you put a warm tea bag in his mouth near the bad tooth. The nerves are usually in the back, so if you put it behind the back tooth it might deaden the pain a little more…not HOT, but just warm.

I think my 6.5 chi has a toothache. Can I give him a baby aspirin? Or what can I give him to relieve the pain until I can get him to the vet?
