I haven’t flown with mine but the last time I flew (last November) the lady in
the seat next to me had her little guy in a carrier under the seat. He was not
happy when she had to put it on the floor for takeoff and landing and barked a
bit but during the flight she had it carrier on her lap and opened it enough
for him to get his head out so he got lots of petting from both of us. He
seemed to do fine.

I did it once. I don't think I would do it again. With the layovers and
worrying about potty time and him squished in that tiny space under my feet..it
was not a good experience for either of us.

Wow this is bad. I plan of flying with my Liza chi to Alaska to visit with
family there. But she will be flying Alaska Airlines as a Carry On. She is only
9 lbs and her crate will go under my seat. I won't be going this year but next
year I will. Hope there is no snag with this. I will have to speak with the
airline to be sure I can have her with me. Of course I would do that anyway.

Have any of you had experience taking your chi as a Carry On on planes?

Margie
