Mine rarely get veggies, its like Deanna said, if I have it I may give them a 
bite.  But never ever ever feed grain.  In those rare occasions that I have in 
the past, my Danes quickly get that "dog" smell and Mason's ears get mega itchy 
and smelly!   I love raw feeding! But to each their own!

As for needing supplements, plant material may taste yummy to them but it 
really has no place in their diet as dogs can't break cellulose down!  Liver 
and organ are the things they must have.
