I agree. Most people put a toy breed in a crate, or another room, or a
playpen and all that is doing is ignoring the problem, and not solving the
problem, and the dog knows it, so it will continue to act the same way
because no one showed him that there is another way. Some dogs just can't
figure things out for themselves....they need to be showed what the
alternative is, and that is through training.

It's what's always worked for him so people leave him alone or don't make
him do anything that he doesn't want to do.

I have a male who loves me excessively. He won't bite but he will nail
everyone else so if anyone else is around I either hold him or shut him in
the bedroom. He is a rescue and is terrified of everyone but his reaction is
to bite. Is this a new behavior could he be afraid?

Anyone out there experiencing the same, please write about how you deal with
these behaviors. I love my Chihuahua with all my heart but the biting has
scared most of my body. Any ideas???
