I don't think one person is the be all and end all for training dogs.  I take
some ideas that I like and think will work with a particular dog and use it.
Some from experts and some from the list.  Cross my fingers and hope lol

Just
my 2-cents, but NOT everyone believes in Caesar Milan.  As a matter of
fact, a LARGE portion of the rescue community has very definitely come down on
the "anti-whisperer" side of the fence.  Even the Monks that first got
press for all that "alpha roll" nonsense have realized their error.  Dogs
DO need structure, and they DO learn from routine and repitition, but it would
be a cold day in hell before I'd give one of MY dogs to him for training or
even
use his methods.... for real.

as food aggression, if you have dogs inclined to that, then you are setting
them up for failure if you continue to feed them together.  Why not avoid
that and separate them?? Peace in the Valley.  With four, there is always
maneuvering for top spot with me..which is fine.  but if anyone growls or
gets cranky, they are removed immediately from my lap and lose their
attention
privileges.  They don't run the show ..I do..
