I heard of one company that went that way for some software. They got the
code they contracted for but all of the comments where in the local language.
No one knew how to fix a bug that was found in it because of that, and the
people that did the first version could not be found.
I know of an other company that has contracted people over there to do OCR
type work. High speed scanners and big pipes work here to ship the stuff
over there for them to deskew and convert to text. Have not heard how that
ended.
