Hello everyone, after some resultless searches in several semiconductor databases and google I hope someone of you is able to help me.
I'm looking for a replacement of the PIN-photodiode BPDP-30 resp. HP5082-4203. I found a circuit on the web <http://www.ibutton.com/images/wideband.pdf> where the glass cover of this photodiode is removed and the blank diode surface is 'misused' for detecting radiation impulses. In contrast to the circuit I'm only interested in the pulse if one decay event (alpha-particle in my application) occurs. Certaily the circuit will only work when all other radiation sources (light, IR, ...) are eliminated. So if anyone can recommend me a replacement / compatible or even a better choice for the diode / operation amplifier (because I think noise would be the biggest problem here) I'd be very happy. Normally I'm rather familiar with digital schematic design but this can only start here when the pulses are properly preprocessed :-( Thanks in advance! Markus p.s.
