There are known, serious problems in the smb/server in build 111.
So the benefit of going to 118 is that those problems have been
fixed.

From an smb/server perspective there is no drawback.  There is no
additional SMB testing for OpenSolaris releases.  All SMB testing
is done by a dedicated SMB functional verification and test (FVT)
team.  They do a good job on a huge test matrix but if something
escapes our test procedures it will get into OpenSolaris.

I think the SMB code in 118 is higher quality than in 111 because
we are continually improving it and adding tests to the test matrix.
