I use opensolaris snv_122 on an HP laptop. In order to use the CIFS client (to
mount windows shares) do I need to mount the zfs file system (my home
directory) with the 'nbmand=on' option?

The reason I'm asking is because I see some strange problems when I mount a
CIFS share:

I cannot edit files with gedit or openoffice writer.

I have posted another thread on this issue in this forum (it's called Operation
not applicable).
Thank you very much.

Chris
