I was using MMC. I posted screenshots dictating the process i was using.
In a nutshell, I'm a unix admin. I'm responsible for making sure snapshots are taken, the unix OS and SMB services are online, and the hardware is working. I'd like the windows team to administer all shares. My assumption was I could create one share on the server, and have the windows team create and administrate sub-shares via a windows GUI.
