Hey all,
I spent some time and wrote a Beginner's Guide to Exporting Video from Cinelerra. I've based the format off of Alex Ferrer's Twiki, but I figured I'd float it by this list first to see if anyone has any suggestions or improvements to it before I put it up on the Twiki. Please let me know. Again, this is a guide for beginners (like myself), so it is intended for that audience.

Thanks to the folks at Heroine Warrior for freeing us of the high cost video habit!! Tally ho!

Just in case you get anyone emailing you with the same problem: your export video for dvd method did not work for me due to an <a href="http://bugs.cinelerra.org/show_bug.cgi?id=229";>unconfirmed bug</a> I have previously reported. That is it crashes or fails when rendering from PAL DV (in quicktime or avi container). I render straight to MPEG video format rather than to YUV4MPEG, selecting Format-Preset DVD and that works.
The chart of players verse render formats is great.
