i think it is a very good idea :)
only one question: why a list and not a forum for the users?
i like forums because you archive the info in a more organized maner and
then it is easyer to find things.
also for developers it is easyer to take a look on what users are doing,
i think :)
people interested can syndicate to the forum to be up-to-date.
in the website, i would use a similar extructure to openaudio since it
has worked so well.
the openvideo name sounds perfect :)
