Is there any advantage to compile from sources even if i got akirad
packages of cinelerracv for 10.04 and cinecutie installed ?

There are no packages for Ubuntu 10.10.
Instead of moving backward to 10.04 you could try moving forward and
compile CinelerraCV from source.
It is not so difficult once you have the right dependencies list.
