Clubs, like some people, cannot control what you can do, buy, etc.
but they can make it mighty unpleasant for you if you don't go along with
them. It is important to remember it takes two to tango. When people stop
submitting to that kind of pressure, it will go away eventually. In the
case of a club - there is nothing any club has to offer for which people
should allow themselves to be intimidated. Thanks to AKC recognition,
ANYONE can breed, register, show, etc. That can be a double edged sword as
we know since priveleges are extended to unethical as well as ethical
people (until they're found out) but that is the price for freedom. I for
one, am willing to pay it.
