The Convention was about Cavaliers in other parts of the world NOT POLITICS.
It was intended as an overview of Cavaliers nothing else. Health, diet , nor
Clubs were not on the Agenda. It may have escaped your notice that Canada,
France, Germany and many other countries were not represented - if they had
been the convention would have lasted for days!!!
The organising of the day was nothing to do with me and it was the first of
its kind - in the circumstances I think the organisers did very well. No
doubt whoever puts the next one on (if there is a next one) may chose a
different approach and agenda.
I reiterate what I said in my previous post that I thought that Betty Deemer
was very diplomatic in the way she addressed the schism - I certainly was
not made aware from what she said where her sympathies lay.
I will also say again that in my personal opinion and it is my opinion only
a convention about Cavaliers was not the place for political dialogue from
which ever side of the fence you stand and that being so did not require two
speakers from the USA
