Hello, Janine,
As we awake in shock over here and realize that we know friends on one
or more of the flights, (my husband's friend, possibly one of my son's)
and hear of suspects being identified it is, indeed a hard balancing act
through which we all must go. I, too, hope that we as a nation will be
judicious in our treatment of individuals while taking measures to stop
terrorism.
I find that I cannot work, and have taken time off to be with my
children and husband. One has chosen to go to school (where I believe
they have counseling going on) and the other isn't sure yet what to do
but scan the lists of passengers.

This is so personal and so widespread.....I believe before the day is
out many, many of us will know those who are dead. I have not yet heard
from my best childhood friend who works in NY as a nurse; doubtless it
will take days for us to know who has died and who has survived. Many
of the rescuers are dead; countless firefighters, policeman, medical
personnel are buried in rubble.

None of us know what to feel beyond that yet. I know that rage hasn't
hit me personally just intense fear and deep sadness; I'm sure I, too
will feel anger as the process of grieving goes on as it does.

We continue to pray over here.

Suze
