Hi Phyllis
I did not realize that there was a difference between the two - I thought
that the doggie pads were the same exact thing, simply impregnated with an
attractant.

pads..... Cavaliers are beautiful, proud dogs with dignity. They are not
little teacup Yorkies or those Mexican ones (whose name I will not attempt
to spell.)
I absolutely agree with you on this - at least to a great degree. However,
I was considering the litter in order to keep our babies cleaner, not as a
permanent alternative to house trained dogs. We also thought that this
might help get pupies of to a good start in new homes as it would be a
familiar scent, appearance and feeling (dogs are quite sensitive about what
is under foot) thereby being a better cue for pottying than an umfamiliar
lawn....
Frankly, however, there are times when after several days of rain I really
do fantasize about litter trained Cavliers.....LOL
