Dear Susan,
If the ruby is a dominant wholecolor, you could have rubies & B&T's. If the
Tri is a dominant Tri, you will only have B&T's or if the ruby is carrying
for parti, you can have B&T's & Tri's . If neither is dominant, and the
ruby is carrying for parti, you can have all four colors.

Subject: [CKCS-L] Genetics of Coat Color in CKCS

>
> B&T = aaEESS; Tri = aaEEss; Ruby = aaeeSS; Blenheim = aaeess
> Where a = tan points; E = formation of dark (black or brown over whole
> coat); e = no dark pigment, leaving a clear and evenly distributed shade
of
> red or orange; S = Solid coat color; s = piebald spotting

> 1. Black is dominant over ruby and blenheim
> 2. Solid colors are dominant over broken (piebald) colors.
> 3. In order to increase the chances of producing Tri-Color, breed Tri to
> Tri, Tri to Blenheim or Tri to a B&T that is out of a Tri/B&T mating.
> 4. B&T's are dominant over all other colors. Which makes it a easy color
> to lose if you don't keep breeding them.
> 5. Blenheims are recessive to all other colors. Therefore are the most
> common, as almost every dog carries the recessive for blenheim.
> 6. Ruby to ruby or to blenheim will produce ruby.
