I agree wholeheartedly.  To add to this, I would prefer only a commercially
produced raw diet be fed to puppies while they are growing unless one really
knows what they are doing.  I've known too many people who attempted to
*supplement* home prepared raw diets so much that they mimic those over
supplemented puppy kibbles.   Many of us, me included, are guilty of
thinking *if a little is good, maybe more is even better* and end up
overdoing it.
