That is much like what I do. When I sell a show puppy to someone, I make it very clear that I still consider that puppy to be part of my breeding program. I explain that I more than likely WILL want to buy puppies back from that dog. If I didn't think the dog was good enough to be in my breeding program (and therefore didn't want to buy back puppies from that particular dog) then that dog wouldn't be in anyone's breeding program.
