That puppy-back thing is the greatest scam going, no doubt about it. First,
you sell a bitch pup for $2,000 (nobody's going to let a breeding-quality girl
go for less), then take back a pup worth at least $1,500 (after the bitch
owner pays the stud fee, of course). This is what most breeders go for, it
seems, if they let a breeding girl go. No wonder the puppy mills like
Cavaliers so much...huge money.
