Hi, It all seems so complicated.... I was fortunate enough that my first show/breeding quality girl was sold to me outright. The breeder put her on restricted breeding rights until the dog was old enough to be evaluated by the breeder and tested. Once that was done, the breeder lifted the restriction. There was never any co-ownership or puppies back. This is what I will do in the future if I feel that I have a dog that I just can't keep, but feel that the quality is there for showing and breeding. I would love to be able to give a new person (that I have spent alot of time getting to know) the opportunity that I was given. I just don't feel that it is right to ask someone after they have invested not only a lot of money for the pup, the money that it takes to raise a girl to breeding age (testing, showing, etc) to give up their pick puppy. Another thing that I really don't agree with is putting a dog that is basically a pet into a home on breeding terms with numerous puppies back. Sometimes it is just best and kinder to let that dog be a pet in a well loved home.
Just my opinion for what it is worth, Kind regards, Kim ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
