That is probably what would happen.  If anyone wants to know what features
are hard to keep in their breed, I believe we just need to remember that.
If you have a larger breed, unless a breeder is careful the size will try to
come down.  A smaller breed will try to get bigger.  A very long, narrow
muzzled breed will tend to get a bit wider and shorter.  A very short, wide
muzzle will tend to get longer and narrower.

We are probably always fighting this attempt to return to a *norm*.
