I'd have to agree with Chris on this, Sandra. They sound like nice folks but
I've always been of the opinion that unless *everybody* in the house is
absolutely gung-ho, it might not be a good idea. Especially when one of the
unenthusiastic ones is a child. One slip from the puppy (one of those infamous
"biting" incidents which is usually a play nip but almost always gets blown
out of proportion) and it'll be relegated to the back room or OUTTA THERE.

Kindly explain to them that maybe they should wait a year or two and see how
the one 3-yr-old comes around. These people would probably be better off with
an older dog who won't put them through puppy hell, from the sounds of it. If
push came to shove, the child's "interest" would win out, not the puppy's.
