Kim, I was always told by my vet that puppies don't do well with processing cow's milk and that if you need to supplement mom's milk then it is best to use goats milk. Follow directions on amount to dilute but must be used up within 5 days of opening. My puppies have done really well on this. I also use this with ground adult dog food when it is time to wean them from the milk bar. Hope this is helpful.
