Myra, When the puppy "gains strength and eventually refuses to be tubed" - does that mean they just start fighting the tube, refuse to open their mouth or how do you know when it is time to stop? My little one, at eleven days, does take the tube, but sometimes does balk at it and struggles a little and sometimes will twist her head. Clearly, she is not gaining enough to stop feeding yet - she is fluctuating between 7.5 and 8 oz. at 11 days. Thanks, Judi
