I've been trying to catch up on email.....and I am struck with horror at a couple of
posts that have mentioned two types...British and American...referring to our
Cavaliers.
If we have done so much damage to our breed that people can now refer to them as
American type, then what was feared by many when AKC recognized the breed has
happened.
      There is only one type--correct type.  There can be variations in style, but
some of the dogs I see in the ring are completely lacking in type.
    Would someone be so kind as to define American type?
